4. Data Processing When Visiting Our Website
4.1 Storage Period and Erasure
We generally process personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose. Once the purpose no longer applies, the data is erased or blocked, provided that no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax retention periods) conflict with this or a different storage period is specified in this Privacy Policy.
4.2 Server Log Files
When you access our website, certain information is automatically transmitted by your browser to our server or to the server of our hosting or server provider and stored in so-called log files. This includes in particular:
browser type and version,

Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the stability, security, and functionality of our website as well as in technical error analysis.
The log files are generally deleted no later than seven days after creation unless further storage is required for evidence purposes, for example in connection with the investigation of a security incident. In such cases, the respective data is excluded from deletion until the incident has been fully clarified.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device by your browser. They may contain various information such as the IP address, details about the browser used, language settings, or individual page settings.
5.2 Session Cookies
We use so-called session cookies which are stored only for the duration of your current visit and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. They serve, for example, to
store session-related settings,

Where the use of these cookies is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract or for performance of a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the user-friendly and secure provision of our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5.3 Third-Party Cookies
We also use cookies from third-party providers, for example for analytics, marketing, or convenience purposes. When such cookies are set, the respective providers may also process data on their own responsibility, which may be stored on servers outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the USA). Further details on the individual services, their purposes, the cookies used, and the legal bases can be found in the following sections of this Privacy Policy.
5.4 Disabling Cookies
You can restrict or completely prevent cookies from being stored in your browser settings and can delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. The steps required depend on the browser you are using; please refer to the help function of your browser or the documentation of the browser provider.
Please note that some browser settings do not apply to so-called Flash cookies. Flash cookies must be managed directly in the settings of your Flash player.
Please be aware that disabling or heavily restricting cookies may mean that not all functions of our website are available in full.
6. Cookie Consent Tool / Cookie Manager
To manage and document your consents to the use of non-essential cookies, we use a cookie consent tool. When you access our website, a corresponding banner is displayed, allowing you to choose which categories of cookies or technologies you consent to.
In this context, the following information is processed and stored in a cookie on your device, among other things:

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie Settings” function on our website.
7. Contract Processing, Orders, and Order Processing
Where you order goods or services via our website or use our software, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, address, contact details, payment details) to handle and fulfil your order and to provide contractual services.
Without the provision of the necessary data, we are generally unable or only partially able to process your order.

In the context of contract processing, we may transmit data to the following recipients where necessary:
shipping service providers (for delivering goods),
payment service providers or credit institutions (for payment processing).
After full completion of the contract, the data is restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law).
8. Customer Account / Registration
If you create a customer account, we process the data you provide during registration (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, and any additional voluntary details) for the purposes of
setting up and managing your customer account,
displaying your order history, wish lists, or similar functions,
preparing and performing contractual relationships.
As part of registration, we also record your IP address as well as the date and time of registration in order to document the process and detect potential misuse. These registration data are not passed on to third parties.
Legal basis:
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, where you consent to the processing;
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where the customer account is necessary for the preparation or performance of a contractual relationship.
You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR. Following withdrawal or deletion of the customer account, the data is erased to the extent that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

During the registration process, we obtain your consent to receive the newsletter. The content of the newsletter is described specifically, and reference is made to this Privacy Policy. Dispatch is carried out via Sendinblue, which processes the data on our behalf.
Sendinblue uses tracking technologies to determine whether and when a newsletter is opened and which links are clicked. We use this information to optimise the content of our newsletter and better tailor it to the interests of recipients.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
You may withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time with effect for the future, for example by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter or by contacting us accordingly.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via the cookie banner). You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
